Gold Medal - 2017 Sonoma County Harvest Fair

Elegant aromas of plum preserves, white peppercorn, and Tahitian vanilla bean dominate the nose while flavors of blackberry tart, mocha, and cardamom control the palate. Some time in the decanter adds notes of fig. The ample tannins linger softly on the finish with notes of raspberry, dark chocolate,  and black currant.
