Outspoken aromas of red currant, caramel sauce, and dark cocoa serve as the ideal introduction to this complex and tantalizing Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel. The robust palate is plush with flavors of rhubarb cola, warm black cherry tartlet, and mocha mousse. A little time in the decanter brings out a chocolate-covered toasted hazelnut characteristic. The ample tannins linger well into the finish with flavors of zesty black plum, dried vanilla bean, and savory allspice.
